Introducing Yolanda Johnson, Broadmead's New VP of Human Resources
Broadmead is pleased to introduce our new Vice President of Human Resources, Yolanda Johnson! Yolanda comes to Broadmead with a wealth of experience in both human resources and Life Care (CCRC) administration. Transitioning to Broadmead from a large, multi-site senior living organization, Yolanda is excited to now have the opportunity to play a larger role in developing the future of the community as a whole.
"Broadmead is unique," says Johnson. "Most retirement communities are connected to large corporations. Broadmead is a single site and very efficient." Yolanda, who also holds an Associate degree in Nursing and is a Registered Nurse, appreciates Broadmead's dedication to health and wellness, which is evident in their Centers of Excellence and collaboration with Johns Hopkins. "Broadmead wants to be in the forefront - with the community, with diversity and inclusion, with residents, and with staff," says Johnson.
In her new position, Yolanda looks forward to developing the future of Broadmead by helping to recruit and retain talent, creating focus groups, and aligning Broadmead's culture and strategic goals for the future.
"It's nice to be a part of the future," says Yolanda, "to be able to look back and say 'I was a part of that.' "
