Living Options
Broadmead offers a variety of services and living options to accommodate resident preferences. All our homes are arranged to create a warm neighborhood environment for our residents.
Independent Living
Our independent living options include our classic-style Garden Homes and brand new, modern Hillside Homes.
Supported Living
We also offer supported living to assist residents adapt to their future needs. Taylor Assisted Living is designed specifically for residents requiring minimal support with personal needs. Our team members provide individualized attention with activities of daily living. Taylor Assisted Living is licensed in the State of Maryland for all three assisted living levels of care.
The Darlington is a fourteen resident neighborhood supporting individuals to live with purpose, enjoying individual and group activities within an environment that supports independence. Team members are empowered to develop relationships, offer solutions, and teamwork abounds.
Hallowell and Tubman Neighborhoods are long-term care neighborhoods designed to provide exceptional comprehensive nursing care services while allowing residents the freedom to enjoy their desired lifestyle. Our highly trained nursing team members provide treatment and support, all centered around each resident’s personal preferences and choices.
Short-term rehabilitative and skilled nursing services are available to individuals living within the greater Baltimore community in our Douglass Neighborhood. Whether recuperating from surgery or an illness, our expert rehabilitation team works with each person to set rehabilitation goals designed to get them back to doing what they love.
In-Home Support Services
Friends Connect lends a hand with a variety of tasks around an individuals home. From medication reminders to pet care, members select not only the services or projects that they want us to provide, but also the person to best perform those tasks. Our personal assistants are fully trained to help in a variety of areas, and it’s our team member's personal approach that defines their experience.
Centers of Excellence
Broadmead has established two Centers of Excellence, which expand on the long-standing tradition and example of quality care provided in our community since 1979. The Center of Excellence in Dementia Care is an evidenced-based, innovative program that keeps us at the forefront of discovery and person-centered care for persons living with dementia and their caregivers. The Center of Excellence in Health and Wellness believes that a focus on holistic wellness at any age and any health status can improve anyone’s quality of life. The wellness team members are here to serve as a resource to both residents and other team members.
