Pam Nixon grew up in the Wiltondale area of Baltimore County and attended Stoneleigh Elementary School. For junior high, she attended Friends School of Baltimore, and for high school, Penn Hall Boarding School in Chambersburg, PA. At Centenary University in Hackettstown, NJ, she earned a degree as a medical secretary, leading to a position, for three years, at Sheppard Pratt Hospital.
Pam met a young man from nearby Stoneleigh, and she and Bud Nixon were married in 1970. They lived in nearby Idlewild and had a son, Andrew George Nixon. Pam became active in the Community Association. When the Nixon family moved to Morris Avenue in Old Lutherville, Pam became actively involved in the Lutherville Garden Club as well as with the Church of the Holy Comforter.
The Nixons have four grandchildren, one just born. They have taken up a good deal of Pam's time and have been a great pleasure for her and Bud. Pam has many interests, and one of her "loves" is eating crabs. She is an expert at extracting every morsel and can do the same with lobsters. She is also a collector of holiday memorabilia. Residents can see a delightful array of her collections both inside and outside her apartment throughout the year.
