by a Broadmead resident
At a well-attended reception for staff and residents on a recent Saturday, artist and staffer Clint Kong and family members discussed the 33 works on display.
Clint's mother, Patsy Kong, drew a flower on display in two days. While none of the works are titled, some of Clint's pieces carry dates, many of which are very close together, so quick work is a family trait. Clint created two pieces by pouring paint onto the canvas. For another, he ran out of paint, and then mixed a different batch to finish. Another piece was initially done in ink and then finished on the computer.
Thank you to the Kong family for sharing your artwork with the Broadmead community!
