T he Broadmead
Residents Association (BRA) oversees more than 60 groups and
committees, many of which plan the activities for the community. As a
matter of fact, almost every activity is planned, presented and paid
for by Broadmead volunteers - using money raised through their own
efforts from the Barn Sales, Gift Shop, Sew and So and Woodshop. Weekly
events include Art Class, Music Programs, Lectures, Bible Study, Sew
and So, Ceramics, Writers Group, and Bridge.
The Wellness Department also implements several programs
designed to maintain fitness, strengthen muscles and improve balance.
Weekly programs include Water Aerobics, Aquatic Arthritis Class,
Exercise Class, Stretch and Strengthen Class, and Bounce & Balance.
The indoor swimming pool and whirlpool are
also open daily. In addition to these classes, you can have a
personalized program designed for your visits to the Fitness Room.
Shown below is a sampling of upcoming events at Broadmead. For more information, please
